We are the Hope Builders, three Business students at University of Central Florida (UCF). During this semester, we have enrolled in the cornerstone class, which consists of teaming up with other students to jointly organize a fundraiser event in order to collect founds in behalf of a non-profit organization in Brevard county.

The intention of this class is to develop management and scheduling skills, innovation, and determination to the students in a way that can help us in our professional careers.  For this class, our team has selected to help Faith Landings which is a subdivision of Habitat for Humanity.

As part of our project, our group will build an entrance sign for the Faith Landings subdivision (4 x 6). To do so, we need materials such as stucco, cinder blocks, concrete and many more construction supplies.

To raise funds we hosted our Haunted 5k run/walk on October 31^st and a car wash on October 25^th, both of which turned out great! We are happy to help our community!

Before the second week of November, our group, Hope Builders, will raise at least $500 by organizing and developing a 5k run/walk in order to build an entrance sign for the Faith Landings subdivision in Melbourne FL.
